　　该剧由拉米·尤素夫打造并主演，探索在信奉“生命是道德的考验”的宗教团体和怀疑来生是否存在的千禧一代之间进退两难的感觉是什么。
　　第3季讲述拉米和家人们被迫面临过着一种致力于世俗和谎言的生活，拉米几乎放弃了他的精神之旅，转而专注于他和叔叔的钻石生意。

　　Syfy宣布续订《#凡妮莎海辛# Van Helsing》第三季，新季为13集，预定明年2月开机拍摄。

　　本季前期拍摄时，剧中一贯以来的领头人Hotch因为和编剧的冲突被剧组开除，因此只会出现在本季前两集。为了弥补主角的离开，CBS将引入两名新角色，同时把Emily的扮演者Paget Brewster提升为本季常规演员，同时Reid母亲的扮演者Jane Lynch也会在十二季回归。
