惨败

　　CBS警匪题材的新剧《Flashpoint》故事的主角是一只隶属加拿大首都多伦多警察的特种部队，这只部队的名字叫做战略反应小队(Strategic Response Unit)，简称SRU。SRU的角色原型来自于多伦多的一只真的紧急任务反应小队(Emergency Task Force)。
　　SRU的成员都不是一般的警察，他们有能力做一些普通警察所不能做的事情，包括：“拯救人质，打击黑帮，拆除炸弹，操作尖端武器，”他们将永远冒着生命危险去拯救别人的生命。他们往往会采用任何手段在非常短的时间内解决问题拯救生命。
　　想成为一名SRU成员，你首先要有多年的在街头打击罪犯的经验，还要经受强烈的体能训练，以及射击枪法的训练。除此之外SRU成员还要有操作尖端武器的能力，包括：“狙击枪，蛇形摄像设备，机器人，闪光弹，夜视仪和泰瑟枪”。但是最重要的武器，还是每个人的知觉和经验，能够应付各种危机所需要的技巧。
　　《Flashpoint》最早是由加拿大电视台CTV先行制作，后由CBS看重加入联合制作。该剧的编剧也全部由加拿大编剧协会Writers Guild of Canada(WGC)成员完成，所以也并没有收到美国WGA编剧罢工的影响。《Flashpoint》也是第一部完全由加拿大本地制作并拍摄并在美国主要电视网播出的电视剧集。
　　该剧的主演是《美眉校探 Veronica Mars》里的侦探老爸Enrico Colantoni，饰演小队的头头Sergeant Greg Parker。其他演员还包括Hugh Dillon饰演Ed Lane，David Paetkau饰演Sam Braddock，Amy Jo Johnson(《Felicity》)饰演Jules Callahan。
　　《闪点行动》第一季已于08年夏季挡播出，虽然由于档期问题，S1只播出了原计划13集中的9集，但已收获一定的收视群体，成为一部极具潜力的新剧集。09年冬季，带着S1剩余4集加第一批预定13集和CBS的追加预定，《闪点行动》第二季将以22集强势回归。

　　这季将讲到原作小说第5-9本的内容，也将“比第一季更复杂、野心更大”。紧接上季结尾，三姐弟被银行家Poe寄存在普鲁弗洛克预备学校，等待合适监护人，他们会遇见奇葩的同学Carmelita Spats。而尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯饰演的大坏蛋欧拉夫伯爵，会伪装成欧洲拍卖商Günther来到学校。

故事发生在二战期间，主人公是法国小镇Nouvion的咖啡店主René Artois（实际拍摄地点为英国诺福克郡的Lynford Hall）。纳粹占领军抢劫了村子里所有的有价值的艺术品。                                    
                               　　其中包括史上第一个布谷鸟挂钟，以及一幅号称是名家Van Clomp所作，价值连城的油画《堕落的大波麦当娜》。当地德军指挥官决定把这幅画归为己有，强迫Rene把画藏在他的咖啡馆里。可是，纳粹德国领袖希特勒也想得到这幅画，派了一个盖世太保军官前去寻找这幅画，而这个盖世太保也想自己猫腻这幅画。与此同时，出现了若干这幅油画的赝品。真品和赝品被弄混了。画被装进德国香肠里，一根放在军火运输列车中，在送往希特勒的途中被炸得粉碎，一根被藏起来，还有一根被Flick当成了晚餐。                                    
                               　　该剧的另一条主线是两个被迫降落在该地的英国飞行员躲在René的咖啡馆里。当地全女性法国抵抗组织设法把这两位英国飞行员安全送回英国。但是，计划屡屡出漏子，也闹出了不少笑话。                                    
                               　　似乎这一切还不够乱，René是个花心男人。跟咖啡馆里的两个女招待私下偷情，千方百计要瞒过自己的老婆。锦上添花，或雪上加霜的是，抵抗组织的女首领似乎爱上了René！另外，一个娘娘腔德国军官也看上了这位咖啡馆老板，总是向他暗送秋波。

这部电视剧带来了一个全新的故事。一位忠诚的母亲兼社会工作者克里斯汀·里斯仍在悲痛欲绝中，一位陌生人联系了她的家人，声称有一种非同寻常的联系。克里斯汀在隐瞒什么吗?

Set in Wales, Death Valley follows the unlikely crime-solving partnership between eccentric national treasure John Chapel (Spall), a retired actor and star of hit fictional detective TV show Caesar, and disarming detective sergeant Janie Mallowan (Keyworth). Thrown together by the murder of John’s neighbor, John and Janie are an odd, yet hilarious duo with opposing instincts, and each week they get to the bottom of gripping murders.

　　Who is God? Where did we come from? Why does evil happen? What happens when we die? Every human being on earth has asked themselves these questions at some point, and most likely each person has found a different answer.This series will take viewers on a trip around the world to explore different cultures and religions on the ultimate quest to uncover the meaning of life, God and all these big questions in between.
　　The series seeks to understand how religion has evolved throughout the course of civilization, and in turn how religion has shaped the evolution of society. Although in our current geopolitical landscape, religion is often seen as something that divides, the series illuminates the remarkable similarities among different faiths, even those that seem to be in staunch contrast. This is a quest for God: to shed light on the questions that have puzzled, terrified and inspired mankind, not to mention Freeman himself.
　　Each episode is centered on a different big question about the divine:
　　Creation – Are there similarities among the religious creation stories from around the world? How do they compare with the scientific theory of the creation of the cosmos and the dawn of civilization?
　　Who Is God? – How has the perception of God evolved over human history? Is God just an idea, and if so, can we find evidence of a divine presence in our brains?
　　Evil – What is the root of evil and how has our idea of it evolved over the millennia? Is the devil real? The birth of religion may be inextricably tied to the need to control evil.
　　Miracles – Are miracles real? For many believers, miracles are the foundation of their faith. Others regard miracles as merely unlikely events on which our brains impose divine meaning. Belief in miracles, however we define them, could be what gives us hope and drives us to turn possibility into reality.
　　End of Days – Violent upheaval and fiery judgment fill popular imagination, but was the lore of apocalypse born out of the strife that plagued the Middle East two millennia ago? The true religious meaning of the apocalypse may not be a global war, but an inner revelation.
　　Resurrection – How have beliefs in the afterlife developed, and how has our reaction to the afterlife changed the way we live this life? Now that science is making such rapid advances, we may soon be confronted with digital resurrection. What will that do to our beliefs?
　　To explore each of these topics, host and narrator Freeman went on the ground to some of humanity’s greatest religious sites, including Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall, India’s Bodhi Tree, Mayan temples in Guatemala and the pyramids of Egypt. He traveled with archaeologists to uncover the long-lost religions of our ancestors, such as those at the 7500 B.C. Neolithic settlement Çatalhöyük in Turkey. He immersed himself in religious experiences and rituals all around the world, and became a test subject in scientific labs to examine how the frontiers of neuroscience are intersecting the traditional domain of religion.

Following DS Jones’s promotion to Detective Inspector, Barnaby is joined by DS Charlie Nelson who has moved to Midsomer from London. The villagers of Midsomer Mallow are trying to awaken the ghost of little Rosie, the Blacksmith’s daughter and following a murder during the Manor House’s Fright Night, Nelson is thrown in at the deep end. Will Barnaby and Nelson unravel the mysteries that lie behind the ghost stories or will the eccentricities of the villagers hinder their investigation?

　　SINATRA: All or Nothing at All is an up-close and personal examination of the life, music and career of the legendary entertainer. Told in his own words from hours of archived interviews, along with commentary from those closest to him, the documentary weaves the music and images from Sinatra's life together with rarely seen footage of Sinatra's famous 1971 "Retirement Concert" in Los Angeles. The film's narrative is shaped by Sinatra's song choices for that concert, which Gibney interprets as the singer's personal guide through his own life.

　　The manager of the hospital strives to hinder the police investigation, but Ginés Castillo, the warden, talks to agents and tries to convince them that Catherine tried to commit suicide. Enrique will continue trying to find out who was his wife's lover.
